Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 Official Renders Surface, Showing Three Colorways

Samsung’s next clamshell foldable is no longer a mystery. Official press renders of the Galaxy Z Flip8 have surfaced via AndroidHeadlines, giving us a clean look at the device in three colorways — Cream, Graphite, and Pink — well ahead of the company’s July 22 Unpacked event.

The renders confirm what earlier CAD leaks suggested: the Flip8 sticks closely to the design language of the Galaxy Z Flip7. That’s not necessarily a bad thing — Samsung’s clamshell formula has been refined over several generations, and the changes here are more about polish than reinvention.

The three confirmed colors are straightforward. Cream reads as a warm off-white, Graphite is essentially a deep gray, and Pink is exactly what the name implies. There’s chatter about a possible Mint Green variant, but no renders have surfaced yet. If it exists, it’s likely destined for Samsung’s online store as an exclusive.

The vertical folding design carries over with a center-folding main display, a centered punch-hole front camera up top, and uniform bezels. The frame sits slightly raised above the screen — a detail that protects the display when the phone is folded shut. The power button, doubling as a fingerprint sensor, remains on the right side alongside the volume rocker.

Flip it over and the cover screen still occupies the entire upper half of the phone when closed. The dual rear cameras sit horizontally in the top-left corner, embedded into the cover display rather than cut out as separate islands. The LED flash sits right where it was on the Flip7. The side rails remain flat-edged — a signature Samsung move borrowed from the Galaxy S series.

Samsung hasn’t announced official specs yet, but the rumor mill has filled in most of the gaps. The Flip8 is expected to ship in two chipset variants depending on the market: the Exynos 2600 and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy. That dual-track strategy mirrors what Samsung has done in previous generations, though recent leaks suggest some models may skip Exynos entirely in favor of Qualcomm silicon.

Other leaked specs point to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM paired with UFS 4.0 or 4.1 storage. The device is rumored to weigh about 180 grams — slightly lighter than the Flip7. Battery capacity is pegged at 4,300mAh with 25W wired charging, which would be a modest but welcome bump. The camera system looks to carry over the same 50MP main sensor and 12MP ultrawide from the Flip7.

On the display front, expect a 6.9-inch Foldable Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X main screen with 120Hz refresh, and a 4.1-inch Super AMOLED cover display — also at 120Hz.

Samsung has its second Unpacked event of the year locked in for July 22. The Flip8 will share the stage with the Galaxy Z Fold8, the Z Fold8 Ultra, the Galaxy Watch 9, and the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2.
